Nicolas Burrus homepage
Welcome!
I used to be an academic researcher in computer vision, then I got enthusiastic about the Microsoft Kinect in 2011, participated to the early Kinect hacking frenesy and developed the opensource RGBDemo software. The traction around it led Nicolas Tisserand and me to co-found a company, become part of a Microsoft/Techstars program and build Skanect. After the company got acquired by Occipital I have worked on multiple computer vision projects around 3d reconstruction, RGBD tracking, SLAM, mixed reality, usually on mobile and in real-time. I am now part of a small dedicated team focusing on 3D Perception for VR/AR at Arcturus Industries.
You can more about the projects I’ve worked on in the About me section.
